Bryce's Graduation '08
Here we all are in D.C. at the capitol building, our guide was kind enough to take our family photo, so if we look out of focus, we are! But we are glad to have at least one picture of all of us together. What excitement our nations history can invoke in our spirits! This was such an awesome trip.
We had the opportunity to visit Ft. McHenry where the Star Spangled Banner was written.
And I thought it only appropriate to put Dan and Jeff in there right places! :) They had so much fun with this shot.
Of course the Grandkids were always so happy to go along and see all the history. And they took it all in with such high expectations! This was the "Piece de Resistance" of the entire trip- Bryce's Graduation from Dental School. Now he will be known to others as Dr. J. Bryce Carter or J. Bryce Carter DDS. Sounds pretty darn impressive huh!?! Well, Bryce said he still feels the same even with the extra initials and all that schooling. Way to go Bryce! And of course Amy recieved her honorary certificate for putting up with all the things wives do for there spouses. Way to go Amy.
We sure had a great trip and we will see these kids next in Georgia where Bryce will be working. WooHoo!!!

Sorry Soooo Late
Okay so we had some problems with our computer, but we are ready to get this blogger started again! I have a cool video of Dan snowboarding that we will post later, cause it's beyond me to put it on at this time. We are waiting for winter to finally go away but as I am typing this it is like a blizzard outside. It is way fun to see others on the blog spots and find out what is going on in your lives. We are getting ready for a busy time starting in May. We will be flying to Bryce's for his Dental graduation. Congrats Dr. Bryce! Then we are going to Key Largo in Floriday for 2 weeks with my parents and brother. Then in June we will be heading to Lances for a visit with them and they will have a new addition in their family. We are so excited to be seeing so many of you this year again. Of course we will stop in and see Jake and Jeremy's family and Chris' fam is always close. Since I last posted Jeremy and Stephanie have had there baby girl Alexis Geraldine born on March 18. Culminating in nine grandchildren. Man am I feeling old! We love to have these little ones coming along but they sure are coming fast. Well we are going to go outside and shovel more snow so we will blog at ya later!

Carter Parents
| Okay so everybody had a blog except us. So now we do too. Sounds like a copycat, huh? Well, Bryce has done such a great job on his I thought I would give it a try and see how this works. Of course it is winter here and nothing much else to do except write on a blog. We are having such a huge winter snow with real blizzard like conditions and drifting snow. If I can figure out how to post pictures then I will show you all what the first of February looks like in Idaho. Your dad has been playing in the tractor moving snow and really enjoying himself. I have been working L&D, and mostly enjoying myself. It is still a little scary but it is getting better. Dan is working at KMart and says he hates it 'cause they make him bring in the carts. Last week he said he washed a window for KMart when it was 20 below zero. I'm not sure how he got home without losing his hands to the cold! He is wanting to work for Pinnacle security systems but he said he would have to go to AZ for the summer. Okay so it is really cold here now. Can you imagine the temps in AZ in the summer of 120. WHOOH!!! All is well in Idaho. Hope all is well with you and yours. Please write us and let us know what you think of our blogosphere. Mom, Mary |
