Happy Fathers Day '08
Here are a few of our favorite fathers. The only reason our other favorite fathers are not in these pix is because they are not here. We love you all and thought you might like to see what we did for fathers day. Of course we always celebrate Jeffs b-day too on this day. Finally we even had decent weather!

Baby why don't we go to Key Largo...
Here we are in Key Largo, Florida! AHHHH!!! The sun, the breeze, the fishing and swimming and boy could I just keep on going. We had such a great time. My parents and brother David and his three sons were there with us. As you can see my fishing days may need a little tweaking. I don't know if I could survive if I had to fish for my dinner! Others on the trip did way better. Mmmm, Mmmmm. What a stud! He looks good as a fisherman.
This was part of our catch for the day. The big ones are Amberjacks, there meat is like the darker meat on turkey. It is good but not as good as the little fish hanging which are yellowtail tuna. They were really good and we caught several.
This is me, Miles and Marley, my nephews and the Manatees. Sorry you can't see them very well but they are related to the elephants, no they don't have trunks or legs, but there skin feels the same. They are an endangered species and we didn't know you weren't allowed to swim with them or give fresh water, which is what we are doing to keep them there. This was fun!
Ahhh, the evenings in Key Largo. The sunsets are beautiful, but not as pretty as Idaho's. We found this great outdoor restaurant and went there a couple of times to watch the sunset with dinner. The food was great! Needless to say I wanted to stay the rest of my life, and Jeff thought two weeks was too long for a vacation. Well it was fun while it lasted and of course the memories will last a lifetime.
Where to next? Let's all meet for dinner somewhere fabulous!

Bryce's Graduation '08
Here we all are in D.C. at the capitol building, our guide was kind enough to take our family photo, so if we look out of focus, we are! But we are glad to have at least one picture of all of us together. What excitement our nations history can invoke in our spirits! This was such an awesome trip.
We had the opportunity to visit Ft. McHenry where the Star Spangled Banner was written.
And I thought it only appropriate to put Dan and Jeff in there right places! :) They had so much fun with this shot.
Of course the Grandkids were always so happy to go along and see all the history. And they took it all in with such high expectations!

This was the "Piece de Resistance" of the entire trip- Bryce's Graduation from Dental School. Now he will be known to others as Dr. J. Bryce Carter or J. Bryce Carter DDS. Sounds pretty darn impressive huh!?! Well, Bryce said he still feels the same even with the extra initials and all that schooling. Way to go Bryce! And of course Amy recieved her honorary certificate for putting up with all the things wives do for there spouses. Way to go Amy.
We sure had a great trip and we will see these kids next in Georgia where Bryce will be working. WooHoo!!!
